Original packaging photos, videos and external reuse rights

Website use

MUGE may display a selected asset on its own website when the source and confidentiality boundary are acceptable.

Linking

An editor may link to the public page. Linking does not automatically permit downloading or republishing the image.

Reproduction

Copying an image into an article, press page, PDF or social post needs written approval for that specific asset and use.

What “third-party media reuse” means

A publication wants to copy a MUGE image or video into its own content

For example, if DIELINE, Packaging Digest or another editor wants a rigid-box photograph inside an article, the editor needs permission to reproduce that exact file. The permission should not cover customer artwork, logos or confidential project information unless the customer or rights holder also approves them.

01

Identify the exact asset

List the photograph or video, its case page and whether customer artwork or a third-party mark is visible.

02

Verify the rights holder

Confirm that MUGE PACKAGING owns or controls the selected media and that customer confidentiality is not breached.

03

Define the permitted use

Record the publisher, article, website or print channel, territory, duration, allowed edits and whether download or re-upload is permitted.

04

Issue written approval

A responsible company representative approves the exact assets and credit line. Silence or a public website URL is not permission.

Customer artwork remains protected

A MUGE photograph may contain artwork owned by a customer or brand. MUGE website use does not automatically grant the company the right to license that artwork to another publisher. Such assets remain restricted or are cropped, anonymized or replaced.

Safe approval wording

A written approval should say: “Shenzhen Muge Design Packaging Product Co., Ltd. permits [publisher] to reproduce [exact files] in [named article/channel] for [period/territory], with credit ‘Images courtesy of MUGE PACKAGING’. No other use or transfer is permitted.”

Editorial request

Request an approved image set for a specific article

State the publication, article topic, exact images, channel, territory, duration and planned edits. MUGE will check ownership and customer confidentiality before approval.
