Separate support geometry from tube dimensions

A tube diameter alone does not define how a packed item is located. The support cavity, board direction, top and base contact points and usable clearances must be reviewed together. This page does not claim verified retention, transit performance, food contact or compliance.

  • Finished product maximum diameter, full height, weight and loading orientation
  • Internal or external tube dimensions plus required top, base and side clearance
  • Separate top and base support locations, cavity shape and contact points
  • Tube body, wrap, print and finish direction to review before proofing
  • Quantity direction, packing method, destination-market requirements and sample checks

Materials, printing and finishing to review

Specify the tube wall, surface wrap and removable paperboard supports separately. Kraft, coated paper and specialty-paper directions need review against the structure and artwork. Ask for the proposed board grade, thickness and fold direction; the illustrations do not establish these specifications.

Provide CMYK or spot-colour artwork and mark foil, embossing, spot UV or matte/gloss lamination areas. Review the wrap seam and support contact areas before selecting finishes. The packed item, loading sequence and outer shipping carton determine which sample checks are needed.
