How should a buyer evaluate a custom paper tube before approving dimensions, closure and surface finish?

A paper tube should be evaluated as a fitted system rather than as an isolated cylinder. Start with the product's maximum dimensions, weight and required clearance, then review the internal diameter, usable height, wall construction, cap overlap, liner or insert and opening resistance on a physical sample. Surface wrap, seam placement, rolled edges and metallic details should be checked under consistent lighting because the same artwork can look different across coated paper, kraft paper and specialty wraps. If the packed product is sensitive to moisture, oil, aroma, migration or shelf life, the relevant barrier and destination-market requirements must be confirmed separately. ISO 9001 supports the company's documented quality-management process; it does not replace project-specific measurements or test reports.
