Choosing between a single wall and double wall corrugated box is a packaging-engineering decision, not a simple choice between a cheaper box and a stronger box. The right specification depends on the packed product, total packed weight, fragility, stacking pattern, handling route, pallet plan and storage conditions.

The Direct Difference

A single wall board uses one fluted medium between two linerboards. A double wall board combines two fluted mediums with three linerboards. When Single Wall May Be the Better Starting Point
