By the end of 2026, a luxury box without a Digital Product Passport (DPP) may be seen as an anonymous commodity. Consumers are asking: where did the fibre come from, and was the forest managed sustainably?
How a DPP can be linked to the box
A QR or NFC link on the box can point to a record of the materials and sources behind it. For the paper, FSC-certified paper is available via a certified supplier. Whether a given order carries FSC-certified paper depends on the specification and the supplier documents for that order, so ask for them before repeating the claim.
If a tag or passport link is built into the box structure, ask what it is made of and for documents covering the finished construction. Do not describe it as biodegradable or compostable without them.
